2012 CFDAs Red Carpet Ravens plus Kate Middleton's McQueen Jubilee Magic

The Council of Fashion Designers America Awards is one of my most favourite times of the year, where you finally get to see the designers themselves in the spotlight and walking that red carpet they so often style. I love seeing which pieces each designer picks to dress their celebrity date for the night, you know it's gotta be good. As for the results, The Row by the Olsen twins won womenswear designer of the year award, Phillip Lim won menswear emerging talent award and Tommy Hilfiger took home the lifetime achievement award! Not only did our eyes get treated to some fabulous fashions from the CFDA's this week, but it was also the Queens Jubilee celebrations. That means all eyes were on Kate Middleton and what she was wearing, need I say more. She did not disappoint. Wearing two fabulous Alexander McQueen dresses, each with their own style, she looked every bit the stylish Duchess that we have come to know. I must say, I always swoon a little whenever she steps out in her fabulously chosen designer pieces. Makes my little fashion day!
