In a surprising nightcap, Falguni and Shane Peacock's Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week show transported us to a fashion world in outer space. The runway darkened to sounds of astronauts blasting off into space while moving stars crawled over the walls of the tent, opening to reveal three models wearing bright, cutout, geometric, shimmering and other worldly designs with perspex astronaut helmets. The theatrics did the trick for that late night fashion week exhaustion, I was completely hooked. Once the fashion-nauts had returned to runway base and gained our undivided attention, it was time for Falguni and Shane Peacock to dazzle us with their collection. The lines were magnificent, I've never seen a collection mimic their
inspirational theme so well, reminiscent of spaceships and planets. This duo's bold, symmetrical and galactic prints were to die for while the glistening spaceship materials sent us to a galaxy far far away.
oh wow, those bright and bold prints and colours are just amazing!! I've noticed similar fierce prints in different shops but haven't bought anything yet since in Estonia clothes are extremely overpriced (sales help here though :P).
