Libertine's Playful Presentation At NYFW

Libertine's a regular on the New York Fashion Week runway, when I received an invitation to view their Spring 2013 presentation at Pier 57 in the downtown fashion capital I had no idea what I was getting myself into. One big party, the crazy models danced and played in designer Johnson Hartig's designs. It was hard to focus as the very colourful and print heavy outfits moved from space to space while the models made sure to strike dramatic poses along the way. It was a fun end to the day, the old empty warehouse on the water playing backdrop to what felt like a vibrant magazine shoot. Hartig's eccentrically styled range made quite the high-impact statement and when looking closer the pieces were actually quite sophisticated and strong individually.
