Another Singapore Fashion Week has come and gone...this year saw some big changes - being hosted at a new venue, the National Gallery of Singapore and a new time of year combined with Digital Fashion Week. Having been blessed enough to travel the world attending some of the biggest fashion weeks this industry has to offer, I have to honestly say I was incredibly impressed with SGFW! The new venue competed on an international stage, from the stunning balcony views to those very photographable steps, it was a perfect fit. But how was the fashion? SGFW managed to secure stand-out international designers as part of their line-up: Paris couturist Guo Pei, NYFW veteran Naeem Khan and UK's new it brand Self Portrait. These talented experts aside, Singapore served up some great local Singaporean designers who stood-out during the week like Nida Shay and Aijek. What a week!
